About
Melissa Ashley Hernandez is a Latinx writer and performer. She received her BA in Acting and Directing from DeSales University, and is currently working towards her MFA in Creative Writing at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
She is the author of The Love in Between (2021), and you can find more of her poetry in Fahmidan Journal, The Daily Drunk Magazine, and Bandit Fiction. Her short story, “The Rum Keg Girl,” can be found in Paranormal Contact: A Quiet Horror Confessional (2021) published by Cemetery Gates Media, and her short story, “Lady Killer,” can be found in Volume 4 of Kandisha Press’ Women of Horror Anthology, Don’t Break the Oath (2021).
In October 2020, she founded the literary magazine The Minison Project, where she is the Editor-in-Chief.
